The role of libraries in boosting scientific research in the digital age

The Central Library Department, in collaboration with the Karbala Center for Studies and Research affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, held a one-day scientific seminar on (4/2/2026). The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Hayder Al-Karbala’i from the Karbala Center for Studies and Research affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Zainab Al-Waeli from Al-Mustansiriya University. On the sidelines of the seminar, the Central Library Department at the university also organized a three-day book exhibition to enhance the cultural and scientific environment and support research and knowledge development. The seminar and exhibition targeted all university staff and students.
